Andrew Peycha

Andrew Peycha

Andrew Peycha’s landscapes are unique in their interplay of lines, colours and shapes, ones that often create an optical illusion that resembles and remains aligned with reality. He has described his creative visual art approach as “post-Impressionism meets the digital age”. Fragmented landscapes assume a kaleidoscope-like appearance that Peycha infuses with vibration creating depths that reveal their fuller shapes and light. Peycha’s work reflects his cross-Canada travels, and his earlier sojourns to India and Australia. Peycha pursued his initial post-secondary visual arts education at Sheridan College (Oakville) where he studied Illustration. In the following two decades, his powerful, compelling work has been highlighted in dozens of solo and group exhibitions, publications, and award-winning collections. He now lives in Collingwood.
